Join us for two exclusive free Night Walks on Sunday 21 September, as we celebrate the autumn equinox under the stars. Led by Frieze Sculpture curator Fatos Üstek, this intimate experience will guide a group through the enchanting Frieze Sculpture Park after dark.
See the artworks in a new way as darkness falls. This year’s curatorial theme, ‘In the Shadows’, imagines the shadow not as an ominous portent but as a creative and generative space where memory, material and myth intersect. The selected artists engage with shadows both as an idea and a literal physical phenomenon, exploring ideas of ecological absence, traces of ancestry, bodily imprints and sculptural metaphors, and encountering their works after nightfall promises to be a unique experience.
